The WorkPlace Group, Inc. (WPG) Showcases Relationship anagement Expertise at Outsourcing Institute’s RoadShow

Florham Park, NJ, June 27, 2007: The WorkPlace Group, Inc. (WPG), a full-service provider of Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO), gave keynote presentations at a recent Quarterly RoadShow themed "Relationship Managment in an Outsourcing World".

The event was organized by the Outsourcing Institute, (www.outsourcing.com), a neutral advisory group to outsourcing providers and buyers. It was held on June 5th in the Manhattan law offices of Thelen, Reid, Brown, Raysman & Steiner, LLP. An "invitation only" audience of approximately sixety buyers and advisors was in attendance.

Steven Lindner, PhD., WPG’s CEO, participated on the “Crossfire Panel” which examined the intangible yet critical “provider-buyer relationship factor” as it relates to the success or failure of outsourcing. Dr. Lindner stressed that ongoing communication between RPO provider and buyer is critical. Buyers’ recruitment challenges and objectives change over time. When providers anbuyers are communicating in “True Partnership” a good RPO provider will know how to adjust strategy, process and services to deliver on those objectives. Communications between buyer and provider should feel as easy and safe as that between spouses.

Building on those themes, Christine Holmberg, WPG’s recently named Director of Strategic Partnership Development, presencase study drawn from her previous experience as a buyer of WPG’s services while she was VP of Human Resources at Ross University. According to Christine, “Any provider worth its salt in this space will be able to deliver the typical, tactical RPO services. But, real value goes beyond the ability to deliver turn-key services. IN a true partnership, both parties has 'skin in the game' and share a determination to achieve a successful outcome".
